Lady Gaga Defends Kesha Against Dr. Luke

Celebrities are now chiming in once Billboard and Dick Clark Productions released that Kesha will no longer be able to perform at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. Dr. Luke and his label Kemosabe Records rescinded their approval after TMZ released a story saying Kesha would use the performance to talk about her legal battle.

Lady Gaga took to twitter to voice her opinion about the situation.
Miss Gaga writes, "Isn't it strange that it's legal to own a woman this way? Listen Ursula, we want her voice back. #freeKesha."

Yesterday, Kesha took to her personal Instagram to defend herself and say that all she wanted to do was perform a tribute to Bob Dylan by signing his song "It Ain’t Me, Babe" alluding that the TMZ article was completely fabricated. She then reiterates that she had no intention to bring up her legal battle at the BMAs to put stop to all the gossip.

Last year Kesha brought charges against Dr. Luke for sexual and verbal abuse and is still tied to his label Kemosabe Records after a judge denied her an injunction during the ongoing legal battle.
